ERWEKA DT 720-series has been designed in accordance with USP/EP/JP requirements for testing tablet and other dosage forms.
It combines state-of-the-art with excellent and userfriendly design. The High-Head and Low-Head operating modes offer highest flexibility. The tester can be used as a stand-alone tester as well as a dissolution system equipped with an automated samling station and operated via the ERWEKA Disso. net software.
The manual lifter column, with gas strut support for effortless operation, allows raising and lowering of the drive head in just a few seconds.
Tablets, pellets etc. are inserted through the sampling openings in the drive head via the standard tablet delivery system. Samples for analysis are withdrawn through special, membrane sealed sampling openings inside the drive head. The evaporation is less than less than 1% during 24h (37.0°C, 50rpm, 1000ml).
The extensive use of carbon fibre allowed to eliminate metal and therefore reduces the risk of corrosion to a minimum.
The actual test-run parameters can be documented via an USB printer (optional)
Paddles for Low-Head and High-Head
Each DT 720 can be fitted with the UniShaft system for stirring steel- or fluoropolymer coated stirring elements. At the UniShaft system one single stirring shaft is used to screw on either paddle (PEEK), basket holder or rotating cylinder. Due to the special design, height adjustment is not required.
The UniShaft system, in combination with two different stirring shaft lengths allows to operate DT 720 in either conventional High-Head- or low-evaporation Low-Head mode.
Further UniShaft stirring methods can be inserted into the media individually and therefore are the perfect selection when staggered test-start is required.
