Important Qualifications
You should be aware of certain issues when importing items to QuickBooks.
Customer data is exported from QwikQuote for each order. If
the customer data related to an exported order does not already exist in
QuickBooks, it will be added automatically. If this data is later changed in
QwikQuote it will be updated in QuickBooks only when another order, based on
this new customer data, is exported.
Removing individual line items from an order when reviewing
during an export causes a recalculation of the order's subtotal and tax. If
the tax was manually calculated this calculation is now lost. This affects
the data only on this single export; re-exporting reverts to the original
numbers.
The program exports orders only as invoices; it does not
export orders as estimates, proposals, or pending orders.
Requirements
How the QQ2QB Link Works
Converting QwikQuote orders to QuickBooks invoices involves two distinct steps:
1. Importing a QuickBooks item list into a QwikQuote price list
2. Exporting QwikQuote orders.
These two steps are presented in the Converter's main screen.

QwikQuote - QuickBooks Converter's Main Screen
You do not need to go through both steps every time you convert orders. It is only necessary to
re-import price lists when the QuickBooks item data has changed significantly.
