Important Notes on QwikQuote 6.0

• You can try QwikQuote 6.0 for free for 30 days.  It is a full, working version of the product including the ability to print complete documents.
• If you decide to buy QwikQuote 6, you will already have installed the product.  Simply call 1-800-598-4465, and we will give you a code to authorize its continued use.
• If you are using Windows XP, please upgrade to QwikQuote Version 6.0.010 or later.

QwikQuote 6 Update Instructions:

Single User

1. Download the desired executable file and save to your computer.
2. Run the executable file.

Network User

1. Download the executable file and save it to your C: drive.
2. Run the executable file  to install on the server.
3. Run the the executable from the server on each workstation.  The upgrade does not affect your "pointers" and file locations;  it simply updates certain executables and associated files on each workstation.

There are now two ways to get the latest QwikQuote 5.1.  The first option is a web-based update that is only 150K in size, downloads only the files it needs and can resume interrupted transfers gracefully. For most users, this is the preferred method of upgrading.   The second option is to download the entire update as a single file.  You might want to use this if you have a high-speed internet connection and are running a network copy of QwikQuote or have many single-user copies.  Please download either one of the two following files:

Web-based update file:   qq51upgr.exe (151,329 bytes)

Full update file:    qq51full.exe (26,499,218 bytes)

Update Instructions:

Single User

1. Download the desired executable file and save to your computer.
2. Run the executable file.

Network User

1. Download the executable file and save it to your server.
2. Run the executable file on each workstation.  The upgrade does not affect your "pointers" and file locations;  it simply updates certain executables and associated files on each workstation.  The web-based update requires each workstation to have internet access.  The full update is self-contained and does not need any additional files.

Notes:
This file will upgrade your existing QwikQuote 5.x to the latest shipping version. It will automatically overwrite your current QwikQuote program files but will leave your data intact. This upgrade may be used with either single-user or network QwikQuote licenses.
